About Us

Epsom Rotaract Club is an opportunity to be part of a fun, dynamic and unique international organisation for people aged 18-30, offering a wide range of activities that will enable you to try something new, whilst having a great time and meeting others. Epsom Rotaract offers members the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of social activities, actively support the local community and  raise money for charity.

What We Do

Our activities are organised by our members for our members. They include:

Social

Pub quizzes, drinks, bowling, karaoke, meals, ice skating, badminton, cinema, musicals, barbeques and much more. We are always open to new suggestions and always excited to try new things.

Community

Helping Epsom and Ewell Rotary Clubs with the annual Epsom and Ewell Borough Family Fun Day; volunteering at Epsom Rotary Club’s Christmas Collections; marshalling at Cancer Research UK Race for Life Event at Epsom Downs Racecourse; an annual conservation weekend at National Trust Slindon plus helping at local community projects.

Charity

Each year we select a charity to support for the Rotaract Year (July 1st to June 30th).

Over the last few years we have supported Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, Surrey Air Ambulance and Epsom Medical Equipment Fund.

Last year we raised around £3,000 for Surrey Air Ambulance.

Our main annual fundraising event in the last few years has been a charity quiz night.

In addition to this, in June 2014 we did a sponsored Snowdon walk.

How much does joining Rotaract cost?

If you would like to find out more, feel free to just come along to one of our meetings.  If you let us know you are coming via the Contact Us page, we can make sure we keep an eye out for you and have someone meet you in the bar if you would like.

You are welcome to attend Rotaract as a visitor free of charge for your first 3 meetings so you can get a feel for the club and what we do.  On becoming a member a small annual fee is due (currently £30 a year). This goes towards general costs of the club, such as admin, running our website, marketing and publicity.
